Love a good ramble through the hills? Us too.
The Rossendale Vibes Walking Club is all about getting out into the Valley - exploring the incredible footpaths, moorland and villages that make this place so special.

We use Strava to share routes, track progress and connect with other walkers. It’s completely free to join the club and access our routes - perfect if you fancy exploring Rossendale at your own pace.
​
From time to time, we also run guided group walks / netwalking - relaxed, friendly and full of good conversation. These are run on a donate-to-participate basis, helping us cover costs and continue supporting community projects across the Valley.

Whether you’re local or just visiting, you’re welcome to walk with us, connect with others and enjoy a proper bit of Rossendale fresh air.

ROSSENDALE VIBES WALKING CLUB CHALLENGE 2026
We’ve set ourselves a simple challenge at Rossendale Vibes Walking Club: to walk the distance around the world, TOGETHER.
The total distance is 24,901 miles and every mile logged by members of the Rossendale Vibes Walking Club on Strava counts towards the shared total. Short walks, long hikes, dog walks, exploration days and casual mooches all add up.
This is about getting outside, moving more, exploring the Valley and building a bit of camaraderie along the way. The challenge will run all year, or until we hit the distance, and we’ll share progress as the miles stack up via our socials. If you already walk, you’re halfway there. If you’re just getting started, you’re more than welcome. Join the Rossendale Vibes Wallking Club on Strava and add your steps to the journey.
