Pumpkin Spice and All Things Nice - Rossendale’s Autumn Must-Do List 🎃

Want to experience the best pumpkin spice stuff the Valley has to offer this autumn? From handmade treats to woodland wanders, here are a few local finds guaranteed to get you feeling all warm and autumnal inside.


Peers Clough Farm – The Pumpkin Hunt

A 200-year-old family farm set in 70 acres of pasture and woodland and this autumn it’s full of hidden pumpkins. Their Pumpkin Hunt is a self-guided trail through enchanted woodland. Round up your crew, grab your wellies and camera, and enjoy some proper wholesome time outdoors. Spaces are limited so book ahead with Peers Clough Farm.

Scentish – Pumpkin Spice Bath Rocks

Halloween-style, colourful Bath Rocks in the limited-edition scent of Pumpkin Spice. Just grab a handful, whack them in the bath and watch the colours fizz and swirl. Made right here in Rossendale and available at the Scentish shop on Bank Street, Rawtenstall.

Nutritional Beauty – Pumpkin Spice Wax Melts

Pumpkin Spice soy wax melts, handmade, hand-poured and completely plastic-free. They smell incredible and come in limited numbers, so don’t hang about. Find them at Waterfoot Yard in (erm...) Waterfoot, Potato Man’s Farm Shop in Helmshore and online.

Mr. Fitzpatrick’s – Britain’s Last Temperance Bar

The autumn menu has landed and one of the highlights is a comforting spiced pumpkin soup served with slices of cheesy toast. Perfect, warming food in one of Rossendale’s most foodie iconic spots.

Ninja Coffee Co – Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Head to Ninja Coffee Co on Deardengate in Haslingden where Meg will make you what might just be the tastiest Pumpkin Spiced Latte in the Valley. Enough said.

Baked Cakes in Bacup – If you’re after that proper cosy autumn flavour, head to Baked Cakes on St James Street for their Autumn Spiced Parkin. Sticky, rich and full of warming spice, it’s everything you want with a brew on a cold day. Handcrafted by Danielle and her team, this one’s all about homely flavours done right — pure comfort, straight from the heart of Bacup.
