Seven Years of Unscripted and New Adarawear.

Hitting seven years in business is a massive achievement anywhere, but keeping an independent shop thriving on a local high street deserves a proper nod. Especially when said high street has undergone a rather huge refurbishment! So, a big happy birthday to Unscripted on Deardengate in Haslingden, who are well on their way to a decade of keeping the valley well-dressed.

We popped by the shop chat with owner and stylist Selene to check out their anniversary setup, see their new refreshed shopfloor and get a look at the launch of their new in-house sportswear and loungewear label, Adarawear. They’ve dropped it in two eye-catching colours - the kind of shades that ensure you won't get lost in a crowd.

If you haven’t been in, Unscripted isn't really the kind of place where you just grab a cheap top and never wear it again. Their whole ethos is built around buying things that actually last, which is a refreshing change from the usual fast-fashion cycle.

They are actively trying to kill off the idea of the "single-use outfit." The team there is big on giving actual styling advice, basically challenging you to take one piece and figure out three different ways to wear it so it doesn't just sit in your wardrobe gathering dust.

Selene and her team genuinely care about what they’re doing, and honestly, Haslingden is lucky to have them.
