Hiya, I'm Jamie - Founder and Managing Director of Rossendale Vibes.
What started as a 3am spark of inspiration in Rawtenstall has just become something much bigger… Rossendale Vibes is now officially a Community Interest Company (CIC).
That means everything we do — from reels and free promo, to walks, markets, and community projects — is now locked in as not-for-profit and for the benefit of the Valley. Any money that comes in goes straight back into supporting local businesses, community groups, makers, and events.
Why take this step? Because Rossendale Vibes was never just about content. It’s about connection. It’s about giving small businesses a platform, bringing people together, and showing off what makes the Valley such a brilliant place to live, work and visit.
Becoming a CIC gives us the tools to grow. It means we can apply for funding, run bigger projects, and make a proper long-term impact — without losing the heart and soul of what Vibes has always been: local, supportive, and rooted in community.
"I didn't start Rossendale Vibes because I had the vibes. I started it because I needed them and I found them in our Valley!"
So what’s next? Expect more walks, more workshops, more ways to get involved, and eventually some bigger events that really put Rossendale on the map.
Thanks for being part of the journey so far — we’re only just getting started.
